The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit recently reversed the conviction of Mark Sorensen, the owner of SyMed Inc., a Medicare-registered distributor of durable medical equipment (DME), for alleged violations of the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (“AKS”).
